Teachers’ Lives Easier

Teachers across the country are reeling. Hundreds of teachers across all fifty states shared their reflections around what would #MakeTeachingSustainable with Paul in 2021 through the #SustainableTeaching Project. This resulted in the Six Mindset Shifts for Sustainable Teaching:

• Humanity over Industry

• Collectivism over Individualism

• Empowerment over Control

• Minimalism over Maximalism

• Process over Product

• Flexibility over Fixedness

Within each of these mindset shifts lives core values, suggested practices, and implications for professional learning so that schools and classrooms can make incremental shifts towards sustainability.
